MetaExchange Announces the Formation of its Advisory Board

Emeryville, CA - December 1, 2000 - MetaExchange, Inc. today announced the formation of its advisory board with four members:

Steven M. Bourne - Currently with El Dorado Ventures, Mr. Bourne has held senior management positions at Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Digital Equipment Corporation, Silicon Graphics and was part of the Seventh Edition UNIX team at Bell Laboratories. He designed the UNIX Command Language or "Bourne Shell" used for scripting in the UNIX programming environment. Mr. Bourne's publications include "The UNIX System", a popular text for the effective use of UNIX.

Mike Edleson - Currently Chief Economist for the National Association of Security Dealers (NASDAQ). Mr. Edleson joined the NASD to run the Economic Research division. Previously he launched a global risk management business at Infinity Financial Technology, Inc. Prior to which he was a professor of finance at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Edleson has authored several books and articles on financial topics, and is founding co-editor of the journal "Contemporary Finance Digest".

Mark H. Goldstein - Currently CEO (and founder) of Bluelight.com, Mr. Goldstein has a history of founding successful Internet ventures. Previously, Mr. Goldstein served as Internet Executive for SoftBank Venture Capital and was the recipient of the Information Industry Association (IIA) Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1992.

Doug Robertson - Currently Executive Vice President for Entera. Prior to joining Entera, Mr. Robertson held executive positions in strategy, business development and marketing and was a member of the founding management team at Level 3 Communications. He has also held senior management positions at Motorola and RCN Corporation, leading technology companies. He has developed extensive experience overseeing investments in start-ups. At Motorola, Mr. Robertson managed a $25 million private investment portfolio that was an early investor in companies such as @Home Networks, Viewpoint Data Labs and WorldGate Communications.
