MetaExchange Announces New CEO - Jonathan Hubbard
(Emeryville, CA) - Oct 16, 2000 - MetaExchange Inc, the Internet's first
real-time, bid-ask exchange infrastructure for business commodity products,
announced today that Jonathan Hubbard has joined the company as CEO. Mr.
Hubbard is a five-year internet e-commerce veteran and was Founder/CEO of
Hobby Markets Online, one of the very earliest internet auction success
stories.
Mr. Hubbard received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA from
Johns Hopkins University. In 1999 Mr. Hubbard sold his first company to
boxLot.com where he then served as EVP of Product Development. In August
2000 boxLot's technology was acquired by InfoSpace, inc. (INSP).
